It's Friday! Have You Turned Into A Book Yet? [9]

"It's Friday! Have You Turned Into A Book Yet?" is inspired by the #fridayreads
Twitter meme, Book Journey's "It's Monday! What Are You Reading?", Should Be Reading's "WWW Wednesdays", Tynga's Reviews "Stacking the Shelves" and the various other book haul memes, and probably a few others I can't remember right now.

I haven't got very far (like only 10 pages), so I don't have much to say, other than it seems like it will be great.

As you'll notice in Book News, the trailer for this was released Saturday, and when I watched it I was reminded greatly of The Secret Circle books by L.J. Smith, which I LOVE, so I though I check this out to see how they compare.

Thirst No. 5 came out Tuesday, and I picked it up, but when reading the back I decided I really should re-read the whole series before starting No. 5. I mean, this series is almost The Vampire Diaries show crazy (and I say show, because the TVD books aren't that bad).

I'm thinking I will re-read this as well, just because I want to.

It. Was. Amazing! I absolutely LOVED it! And I can't believe it took me this long to read it.

I wasn't going to get Losing It (the premise didn't really appeal to me), but good review after good review kept popping up on my Goodreads dash, so I decided to it a chance.

Jennifer Rush revealed the cover to the second book in her Altered series, Erased, and I love it! Look at those abs!! This is not the final cover, but Jenn says that there will, most likely, be only little tweaks. There's no synopsis yet, and the released date is Jan 2014.

Exciting Book Stuff!: Cover Reveal Edition

Usually I include cover reveals in my "It's Friday! Have You Turned Into A Book Yet?" post, but this past week brought a boatload of new covers that would have made IF! HYTIABY? very long (and I don't even think I got all of them!). I also didn't want to keep sticking "read more" cuts in, so here ya go. (And when you're done, check out this week's IF! HYTIABY? for more bookish news, my current/past/future reads, and my book haul!)

The cover of Rebel Spring (out December 3 from Razorbill) popped up on Goodreads this week. As far as I can tell, it just appeared, not even the author knew it was there. Below is the lovely cover and its synopsis, though beware of SPOILERS as this is the second book.

Malindo Lo revealed the cover and synopsis to the next book in her Adaption series, Inheritance. It's the second book in the series (so beware of a SPOILERY synopsis), and releases Sept. 18, 2013 from Little, Brown BfYR.

Harlequin TEEN revealed on Facebook the cover the Consume by Melissa Darnell, the third and final book in The Clann series. Not much of a synopsis yet, but they did say it was to be published in Sept. 2013.

Gail Carriger revealed the cover to Curtsies & Conspiracies, the second book in her Finishing School series (the first of which, Etiquette & Espionage, is to be published this upcoming Tuesday). No synopsis yet, and the author is guessing a release date of Nov. 2013.

Jackson Pearce revealed the cover to her next fairytale retelling, Cold Spell. No official release date yet, but we know November 2013. Here's the GORGEOUS (I think it's my favorite of the bunch!) cover, and synopsis:
